I may have intentionally taken my sweet time reading this book. Because I think I spent three solid sessions reading, and in those three sessions I had to stop myself or I’d read through the entire book in one sitting. Fun Easter egg you may or may not have noticed in Birds of Prey (2020)! Notice who is on Montoya’s TV?
That’s Arleen Sorkin – the original Harley – in the Days of Our Lives episode that inspired Paul Dini when he came up with Harley Quinn. It was a nice little nod to Arleen and Harley’s origins.

Here’s a quick little video of Paul Dini talking about it with Kevin Smith.
Next time you’re rewatching Birds of Prey, keep an eye out!

I am a fan of the weirdest, most unusual Harley Quinn items that can be added to a collection.

And I was lucky to have recently become friends with the incredible LeftBrainCo – a fellow Harley Quinn fan and collector. Not only has he given me insight into the world of buying things from movies, but also shown off his incredible talents in prop making.

January 2021, Future State Harley Quinn released in comic stores and many of us fell in love with this design. Sure, it was a limited run and it wasn’t going to be a look we could keep around forever. But it definitely inspired two statues, and to the relief of many collecting on a budget – a much cheaper alternative: the Spinemaster figure.
After we’ve all been hunting every Walmart we can, Amazon finally has the figure as well. You can order her here.
