In 2011-2012, the theatrical production by Allan Heinberg called Batman Live! stole the hearts of many fans – myself included, when I had the chance to see it on the St Louis leg of the US tour.

Amongst the talented cast was Poppy Tierney – who received praise not only from fans of theater, but also classic Harley fans. Her role paid tribute to the original Quinn – Arleen Sorkin – both in acting and the voice that Poppy pulled off. Even fans that weren’t sure about the change in Harley’s look for the show adored Poppy and the love she gave to the character.

This is definitely one of the most underrated Harley Quinn appearances, in my opinion. The life and energy she brought to the stage was a show stealing performance. This is definitely a Harley I wish more could have experienced.
